About the Exhibits

The exhibit of the Heritage Center of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word tells the story of the Congregation through the stories of the Sisters and their many lay collaborators. "A Life for God and a Heart for Others" shares photographs, text, and videos that bring to life the courageous and visionary journey of the Sisters over the past 150 years.

View the video, then click on any of the photographs and you will be taken to a “tour” of that part of the exhibit. Each section contains every photograph (and corresponding caption) that is in the exhibit.

Welcome to our story!

Mexican American CCVI's

In addition to the permanent exhibit, we from time-to-time create special exhibits to commemorate special events, community celebrations, or to bring emphasis to themes or issues relevant to the Congregation.
